Oh-me-oh-my-cookies: Dark & Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Oatmeal Cookies with crushed Peanut Butter filled Pretzels and Trader Joe’s *Oreos*

[slideshow]

Ok, these are REALLY my favorite cookie. really. After I made Oatmeal Oreo Peanut Butter Cup Cookies and Triple Chocolate Pretzel Cookies a few weeks ago, I realized that adding pretzels to the oatmeal peanut butter cup cookies would make it even better! And so, the cookies here were born…

All of the mix-ins here came from Trader Joe’s.  I LOVE Trader Joe’s– their prices are reasonable and they have a lot of different, unique food choices!

For these cookies, I bought their dark chocolate peanut butter cups, mini milk chocolate peanut butter cups, Joe Joe’s (basically TJ brand Oreos), and salted peanut butter filled pretzels.

For 1 batch (about 5 dozen), I used half of everything. Save the other half of everything to make the cookies again! You’ll need to, because they will disappear fast! I crushed up the pretzels and Joe Joe’s, cut the dark chocolate peanut butter cups into quarters, and left the mini pb cups as they are!

Trust me, if you like chocolate and peanut butter..and oreos..and peanut butter filled pretzels..and cookies…you will looove these! (also, quick caveat, if you have never had peanut butter filled pretzels, you are missing out on an amazingggg snacking experience!! I’ve always bought mine from TJ’s, but I’ve also seen them at CVS..)

So what are you waiting for?! Try out these cookies & impress your choco-pb-cookie-loving friends!

Oh-me-Oh-my-Cookies!

Ingredients:
 2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 sticks butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 large eggs
2 1/2 cups oatmeal
1/2 of a package of TJ’s Joe Joe’s cookies, crushed (about 18 cookies. you can use oreos or any other similar cookie too!)
1/2 of a 16oz container of Trader Joe’s dark chocolate peanut butter cups, quartered (8oz)
1/2 of a 12 oz container of Trader Joe’s mini milk chocolate peanut butter cups (6oz– 1 cup)
1/2 package Trader Joe’s salted peanut butter filled pretzels, crushed (about 2 cups whole)

Directions:

1) Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

2) Whisk the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder in a small bowl. Set aside.

3) Beat the butter and sugars in a large bowl until fluffy.  Add in the eggs & vanilla and beat until combined. Scrap down the sides of the bowl with a spatula if you need to.

4) Slowly add the flour mixture to the butter mixture. Once combined, add the oatmeal and all the fun mix-ins! Switch to stirring with a wooden spoon if the batter is too thick.

5) Scoop the cookie dough tablespoon full onto the prepared baking sheets.  Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes.  Cool for a 2-3 minutes on the baking sheet, then remove them to a cooling rack.

Try them fresh from the oven!!

(wait a few minutes so as to not burn your mouth though!)

Yum yum yum…enjoy!
